Two-level quantum system in a resonant
quasi-monochromatic field with singular
perturbations was considered. In WKB approximation the system demonstrates
a transition to quantum deterministic chaos through the cascade of period doubling
bifurcations by overlapping nonlinear resonances as a result of infinite
numbers of intersections of homoclinic trajectory's whiskers.
