The sales forecasting is
an important issue for manufacturing company in order to have the
right production planning optimizing inventory and guaranteeing a
good service to their customer. It is clear that for an high tech
company forecast has a wide range of meaning and it does not
exclude the marketing and the innovation strategies. In this paper
it has been examined the problem of forecasting for a product
group with standard products used in general purpled electronic
system. Linear and nonlinear modelling strategies have been
developed to have a forecast of sales and the results show that
it's possible to apply
these mathematical methodologies for this kind of problem..
