Instabilities are analyzed which lead to quasiperiodic solutions
in Lang-Kobayashi equations for semiconductor lasers subject to
optical feedback from external reflectors. Bifurcation properties
are studied in dependence on the linewidth enhancement factor.
Different origin of tori is demonstrated on the way to coherent
collapse
