The representation of the two-dimensional complex oscillator
for the Coulomb basis is used for evaluating the electron shell
density of a many-electron atom. The asymptotic limit of the
electron shell density for the sufficiently large number of the
shell is found. A statistical model of an atom is built on
the basis of the electron density obtained
Key words: many-electron atom, electron density
